These delicious treats are famously served around bars in Malaysia as finger food. Home chefs also serve these as Appetizers or as a Side Dish at home. These Anchovies should be Crispy, slightly Salty, Sour, Spicy, and the Onions are lightly softened without the raw taste. A great way to stimulate the appetite.
=> 50 g of Fried Crispy Anchovies
=> 1 small Red Onion (halved & sliced)
=> 1 Red Chili (seeded & thinly sliced)
=> 2 nos Bird's Eye Chilies (chopped = optional)
=> 4-6 nos Kalamansi Lime (juiced)
=> 2 tbsp of Peanut Oil
= Heat oil in a pan over high heat. Add the Onions and the Chilies.
= Stir fry until the Onions become lightly softened. Toss in the Crispy Anchovies.
= Mix it up, toss well and pour into a bowl.
= Squeeze some Kalamansi Lime over the dish. Mix well.
= Serve Immediately.
