This is one of the most favorite Bangladeshi Cuisine, which has become a Daily Dose for every meals of Bangladeshi Peoples. Also in West Bengal, it's most popular among Bengali peoples. It's very tasty, healthy and easy-to-cook.
=> 5-6 nos of Paul (পটোল)
=> 2 nos of Potato (medium sized)
=> 2 nos of Onion (medium sized & chopped)
=> 1 tsp of Ginger-Garlic Paste
=> 1 tsp of Turmeric Powder
=> 1 tsp of Red Chili Powder
=> 6-7 nos of Garlic Cloves (smashed)
=> 1/2 tsp of Hot Spice Powder
=> Oil for frying
= Peel off the skin of Pauls and cut into Thick Strips. (like, 1 paul should be in 3 pieces, cut into the length). Peel off the Potatoes also, cut into small square shape.
= Heal oil to a pan. Fry the Pauls and the Potatoes (separately), until slight brown in color. Set aside.
= Heat some more oil into the same pan, add the Onions and the Garlic Cloves until they become Golden Brown in color.
= Add all other spices & ingredients (except Fried Vegetables, Ginger-Garlic Paste & Hot Spice Powder) and mix them well by stirring continuously.
= Add Fried Vegetables and Ginger-Garlic Paste, stir a bit & cover with a lid. Add hot boiling water and cook until the vegetables become tender.
= Add the hot spices and Mix. Turn off the heat and transfer them into a serving dish.
= Sprinkle some chopped parsley. Serve hot.
