Mugh Daal Curry (Pakistan Style)

This cuisine belonged to Pakistani own dishes, which specially served and available in any restaurants  in Pakistan. The specialty of this cuisine is, this can give you the ultimate taste of Beef / Chicken curry and Bangladeshi 'Bhuna Khichuri (ভুনা খিচুà§œি)' at a same time. This cuisine has been cooked using Mugh Daal which can be found in any stores nearby you, if you are a resident of Bangladesh, India and Pakistan. Also, you can serve it with Steamed Rice and Breads.


Ingredients:

=> 250 g of Mugh Daal
=> 2 Big Sized Onions (chopped)
=> 3 Cloves of Garlic (Chopped)
=> 1/2 tsp of Red Chili Powder
=> 1 tsp of Turmeric Powder
=> Salt to taste
=> 1 tsp of Ginger-Garlic Paste
=> 1 tsp of Black Pepper (whole; not powdered)
=> 1/4 tsp of Cumin Seeds


Preparatio:

= Heat oil to a frying pan. Add onions and fry for sometime without color. Then add Garlic and fry them until light brown.

= Add some hot water. Now add Red Chili Powder, Turmeric Powder, Ginger-Garlic Paste and cook for a min.

= Now add the Daal and cook until the daals fries well. Now add required amount of hot water and bring to the boil.

= Add salt and let it cook until all the spices mixed together with the daal. Check frequently that the water does not get soaked too much.

= When the daals become soft and tender, add the Pepper and cumin seeds and stir to mix them well.

= Remove from the heat and keep them to a serving dish. Now serve hot as you like.
