Ingredients:
=> 1 clove of garlic, minced
=> ½ an onion, diced
=> ½ a bell pepper, diced
=> olive oil
=> salt and pepper
=> 1 pound of ground hamburger
=> 1 can of tomato sauce
=> Cheddar cheese slices
Preparation:
=> For the biscuits: Unwrap the raw dough and lightly grease a cask iron skillet. Place the biscuits down and cover with tin foil. Bake on a medium heat (coals) until puffed and cooked through out. Flip halfway through.
=> In a skillet over coals drizzle a little olive oil and brown the ground beef. Drain off any excess fat. Add the garlic, onion and bell pepper as well as the tomato sauce. Simmer for 10 minutes.
=> To assemble, slice a biscuit in half and ladle over the sloppy joe. Top with cheese slice.
=> Serve hot!
