Buttered / Sauté / Glazed Vegetables


#) Buttered Vegetables is a side dish cuisine, which is exactly served beside any main dish. It can be served with any Fried items including Fried Rice. Let's try to make this (for 1):





Ingredients:

=> Carrots -------- 1 nos
=> Long Bean ------- 2 nos
=> Papaya ------- 1/4 nos
=> Broccoli ------ 3 medium pcs
=> Cauliflower ------ 3 medium pcs
=> Butter -------- 1 tbsp
=> Salt ------- to taste
=> Black Pepper ------- to taste
=> Soya Sauce -------- 1 tsp

Preparation:

= Cut the Papaya, Carrots, and Long Bean into finger size. Cut the Broccoli and Cauliflower into small sized pieces. 

= Heat water to a pot. Season with salt {you can add some vinegar to prevent the vegetables from discolor}. Then half boil them by putting the vegetables like this order: Carrot > Papaya > Broccoli + Cauliflower > Long Bean. 

= Strain the water. 

= Melt butter to a sauté pan. Add all the strained vegetables. Season with salt and pepper. Toss them well for 10 secs. 

= Transfer them to serving dish. Serve hot.
